ICO Rafting seeks volunteers!

Question-and-answer session: January 26, 6 pm, Berkeley Public Library, 2090 Kittredge Street, Berkeley (near downtown Berkeley BART).

Application deadline: Wednesday, February 4.

Inner City Outings is an outreach program of the Sierra Club that provides wilderness experiences to those who would not otherwise have the opportunity, particularly inner city youth. The San Francisco Bay Rafting Chapter of ICO takes participants on whitewater rafting trips throughout California, primarily on the South Fork of the American River.

We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers who want to share the outdoors with others. No experience is required. We will provide the necessary training through an intensive program in the spring.

To learn more about Inner City Outings, come to our question-and-answer session. For further information about volunteering for ICO, including an application and a complete schedule of events, please visit http://ico.sierraclub.org/sfbayrafting

For additional information, contact Ryan Clark at volunteer -at- icorafting.org or (510) 724-2150.
