Step It Up... blue sky, Foggy City-styleA day of action in San Francisco and around the nation - for stopping climate change Saturday, November 3, "Pimp Your Ride" - noon at Dolores Park; "Recycle That!" art installation" - 1 - 3 at UN Plaza. On Sat., Nov. 3, join the Sierra Club and numerous other organizations for "Step It Up 2: Who's a Leader?" - a day for Americans to demand real action on global warming and leaders who can deliver it. From coast to coast, we'll rally in our communities and invite our politicians to join us. We'll see who rises to the occasion and who has a real plan to tackle the defining challenge of our time. The first Step It Up day last April was the largest day of national action on global warming to date. More than 1,400 events were held, and many of the largest were led by Sierra Club leaders. Here in San Francisco, help defend the few blue skies our beautiful Foggy City has to offer. Sat., Nov. 3, will be a day of art, activity, and action. Join in and let's Step It Up San Francisco style. With your participation, this will be a day of change! Let our voices be heard, and let's keep those blue skies smiling back at us. Local and state politicians are invited to share their commitment to climate action with the crowd, who will mainly be distracted with the following activities.
