Check out the new blog from Sierra Club California - a place for fresh and provocative discussion of environmental politics and policy in the Golden State.

The inaugural post on Aug. 8 comments on the Senate Republicans' attempt to use the state budget as leverage to roll back California's Environmental Quality Act. The Club's Sacramento staff includes a number of good writers with unique insight into the state's environmental politics; we can look forward to lots of provocative writing on the site.
