Eighth biennial State of the Estuary Conference

"A Greener Shade of Blue"

The San Francisco Estuary Project invites you to an important environmental conference on the ecological health of the San Francisco Bay-Delta Estuary.

The conference includes both plenary and concurrent sessions with over 80 invited speakers addressing topics that include impacts of global change, pollution and emerging contaminants, land-use challenges, wetlands restoration, status of fish and wildlife, invasive species, and Bay-Delta linkages.

The conference is sponsored by the San Francisco Estuary Project, the CalFed Science Program, and dozens of local government agencies, businesses, and non-profit organizations, including the Sierra Club Bay Chapter.

Registration is $270 if paid by Sep. 28 and includes three lunches and two poster-session receptions. Special rates apply for students and groups. For more details, check the conference web site
