Bay Chapter Summer Barbecue

Friday, August 24, 5:00 - 8:30 pm, Ohlone Park, Hearst at McGee Street, Berkeley (from North Berkeley BART station, cross Sacramento Street, and either walk one block south to Hearst and two blocks east to McGee, or take greenway through park).

The San Francisco Bay Chapter Sierra Club Summer Barbecue is our chance to say thank you to all you incredible people who make our chapter great our numerous wonderful volunteers, activities folks, and donors!

All Chapter members are invited whether you're a brand-new member or long time Sierran, stop by and join us for a fun and festive barbecue! We will provide both meat and veggie barbecue fare and drinks. You bring potluck sides (e.g. salads, veggies, fruit, chips) and desserts. (Berkeley prohibits use of alcohol in its parks.)

In the spirit of minimizing waste, we're strongly encouraging folks to bring your own reusable plates, utensils, and cups. Bring the family, games, and musical instruments! Limited picnic tables on site; blankets and chairs may be useful. There will also be a free raffle your chance to win cool Sierra Club gear!! You must be present to win!

If you're available to assist, we need you! Please let us know if you can help set up, clean up, or grill! Help needed and very much appreciated!
