San Francisco Climate Challenge

Help launch energy-saving contest

The Sierra Club's San Francisco Group has partnered with One Atmosphere; San Francisco's Department of Environment; and some talented web, media, and design professionals to sponsor the San Francisco Climate Challenge. This first-of-its-kind energy-saving contest encourages San Francisco residents, neighborhood organizations, schools, and businesses to compete for prizes by lowering their energy consumption. The competition begins at the end of October, but in the meantime we need help in making it happen.

Over the next few weeks and months, we will need volunteers particularly for outreach to community groups and schools and to acquire creative prizes and appropriate sponsors. We are also looking for help translating our web page into Spanish and Chinese.
