With colossal issues like global warming looming at the global level, we need local community activists with the dedication, leadership, and proven skills
to make a real difference.
Over 70% of Americans consider themselves environmentalists, and our challenge is to mobilize that latent majority to build tangible solutions to
global warming, sprawl, environmental injustice, and shoreline protection.
The good news is that there are some fun, tried-and-true techniques for
winning on these and other issues you care about! Join the Bay Chapter staff for
the fourth annual Grassroots Organizing training series. Here's your chance to learn the skills and strategy behind people-powered grassroots organizing in
a classroom-style setting. If you're brand-new to activism or just interested in brushing up your skills, this training is for you.
Our free classroom-style setting will include inspiring trainers, hands-on learning opportunities, and yummy snacks. There will be places and dates all around
the Chapter to fit your location and schedule!
Save the dates, and for questions or to RSVP, contact organizing manager
or call (510) 848-0800, ext. 307.
