Award to LeConte's Lodge's Bonnie Gisel

Bonnie Gisel, the Sierra Club's curator at the LeConte Memorial Lodge in Yosemite, has received the John Muir Association's John Muir Conservation Award for 2006.

The organization wrote that "Ms. Gisel's outstanding work at the lodge with both adults and children underscores John Muir's love of the natural world and provides inspiration to the visitors to carry on his preservation work."
