Vote Environment 2006

Dave Trotter for Moraga Town Council

Dave Trotter, an 18-year Moraga resident, is committed to preserving Moraga's semi-rural setting, its spectacular open space, and its exceptional quality of life. As a former chair and member of the Moraga Planning Commission and as an active citizen participant in town meetings, Dave has consistently advocated for stronger and better protection of Moraga's ridgelines, open spaces, and view corridors. For the past five years, he has served as a director of Save Mount Diablo, an organization dedicated to the preservation of open space, wildlife habitat, and the visual and natural integrity of Contra Costa County.

Dave Trotter will provide an urgently needed second environmental voice, along with Councilmember Lynda Deschambault, on a Council that has been less than representative of the open-space and other environmental concerns of Moraga residents.

The Sierra Club urges Moraga voters to elect Dave Trotter to the Town Council.
