Eat, drink, and be merry, while supporting great candidates - at Political Fundraiser
Thursday, September 28, 5:30 - 8:30 pm, Sierra Club National Headquarters, 85 Second Street, San Francisco (one block from BART Montgomery station and
Muni Market Street lines).
Tired of that tough choice between drinking beer and saving the environment? Tonight you can have your beer and drink it too! At the Bay Chapter's annual
Political Committee fundraiser, you'll have all of your grassroots needs fulfilled: in one fabulous night you'll sip local microbrews, help raise money for the Sierra Club,
hobnob with your favorite Bay Area eco-warriors, and enjoy local live music.
The Sierra Club Bay Chapter holds this annual fundraiser for our efforts to support environmentally committed candidates for public office - the candidates you
read about in this very Yodeler. Proceeds from the evening allow the Bay Chapter to aid the campaigns of local politicians fighting to make a difference. Eco-conscious
elected officials are essential to making our world a greener, better place to live in.
To show our appreciation for your continued support, we will be featuring a handful of local microbrewed beers and an assortment of food donated by
local businesses. For your aural enjoyment the Bay Area band, the Finches, will be performing live! So if you're looking to meet great people, drink great beer, eat great
food, and listen to great music, come on over and have a great time!
Admission is $25 per person or sliding scale. Volunteers admitted free. To have your name included in the program, sponsors, patrons, and benefactors should
