Marin Group seventh Annual Banquet

The Sierra Club Marin Group's seventh Annual Banquet features an exciting lineup of speakers and award recipients. Sierra Club executive director Carl Pope will
speak on "Taking the Initiative - The Path to Environmental Renewal".
He will be introduced by Larry Fahn, a Marin resident who just ended a term as the Sierra
Club's national president. The MC will be Marin's witty political columnist Dick Spotswood.
Long-time community environmental activist Jean Berensmeier will receive the Resource Conservation Award. Retired state-park ranger Carlos Porrata receives
the Hannah Creighton Environmental Justice award, and the Group is giving a Special Recognition Award to the "Grand Dame" of Mount Tamalpais, Nancy Skinner.
