station, between Franklin and Webster).
Opening reception (with refreshments): Thursday, June
2, 4:30 - 6:30 pm; 6 pm - awards presentation.
Visit the exhibition of the winning photos from this year's Fourth Annual Yodeler Photo
Contest. The colors are beautiful, and the photo locations may give you some ideas for your next
holiday. The colors and details are far superior to the reproductions possible in this Yodeler,
and the exhibit will include all the winners.
If you have questions or want to help with next year's photo contest, contact Anne Seasons at:
seamerci-at-yahoo.com or (510) 841-8008.
Contest judges
The Photo Contest Committee thanks our panel of three excellent judges:
- Don Lyon, owner of Close-Up Expeditions and frequent presenter of slide shows to the Bay Chapter's East Bay Dinners;
- Corey Keller, assistant curator of photography, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art;
- Andrea McLaughlin, owner of PhotoLab and former advertising manager and volunteer photographer for the Yodeler.
Photo Contest volunteers
The Yodeler would like thank the volunteers without whom this contest could never have happened. They have contributed many hours of brainstorming
ideas, responding to e-mail requests, calling galleries, calling to solicit donations, arranging for judges, writing Yodeler articles, etc., etc., etc. And still there is more work to
do! Thank you, Joan Davidson, Al Greening, Aphra Pia, Allen Stross, Wendy Wollish, Wade Sherwood, and Anne Seasons (the last two have served as co-chairs of
the Contest Committee). Special thanks to Monica DuClaud for Photoshop work to ensure the best-possible color reproduction of photos in this Yodeler.
To join this elite group of volunteers in organizing next year's contest, call Anne Seasons at (510) 841-8008.
