Yodeler Photo Contest winners - on display

The winners of the 2004 Yodeler Photo Contest "Nature in California" are still on display. Remaining locations are:

The Osher Marin Jewish Community Center in San Rafael hosted the exhibit in May and June. July saw the photographs displayed at Epperson Gallery in Crockett. The Yodeler and the Contest Committee thank these facilities for generously donating their space.

Categories for next year

Plans are under way for next year's contest. The dates are not yet determined, but the categories will be the same as this year's:

  • landscape: a broad, expansive view of California land;
  • water: water, ice, fog, etc.;
  • patterns: an arrangement of accidental or natural patterns in nature;
  • California flora: a native plant in a natural setting;
  • animals in nature: a native California animal in a natural setting;
  • nature with people: a nature scene with people involved.

A photographer may enter up to five photos with a maximum of two in any category. Note that the photograph must be a minimum of 8" x 10", and the overall entry (including the frame) can be no larger than 21" x 25".
