Marin Group seeks award nominations

The Sierra Club Marin Group seeks nominations for the Hannah Creighton Environmental Justice Award to be presented at its Annual Dinner on Fri., Oct 8. The award is given annually to a Marin County resident who has demonstrated a continuing commitment to serving under-served minority communities in ways that promote environmentalism. The annual dinner will be held at the Spinnaker Restaurant in Sausalito and will feature Carole Migden, chair of the state Board of Equalization, as the keynote speaker.
