Lee Dorosin

Mount Tam hikers are saddened to learn of the death of Lee Dorosin.

Lee and Debbie were in Ventura for an Elderhostel when Lee suffered a massive stroke. Emergency surgery was not successful, and he was taken off life support and died early Thu., May 27.

Lee was an outstanding and revered leader over many years. Few knew the mountain as intimately. He led not only for the Bay Chapter Hiking Section, but also for the Berkeley Hiking Club, the Mount Tamalpais Interpretative Association, and the California Alpine Club.
