Our Mission . . .
To be a network of Wilderness advocates, educating ourselves and the public about Wilderness through outreach, outings, recruiting, lobbying, letter writing, discussions, and field work. We work for the addition to official Wilderness status of all public roadless lands, and for diligent, appropriate public management of officially designated Wilderness and of roadless wild lands that are potential Wilderness.

Wilderness Committee - We could use help updating our database. It’s not as bad as it sounds. Most of the data exists electronically- we just need to combine the files. Contact Patricia: protectwildplaces-at-yahoo.com.
