Welcome to the West Contra Costa County Group of the Sierra Club
serving Crocket, El Cerrito, Hercules, Pinole, Richmond,
Rodeo, San Pablo and unincorporated areas of western Contra Costa County!
All Sierra Club members who live in the West County area are also automatically
members of the West Contra Costa County Group. We encourage all group
members to participate in our activities and conservation campaigns and
we are ALWAYS looking for new leaders and activists.
The West Contra Costa County Group works closely with many local and
regional conservation activists and welcomes members and non-members alike
to our activities.
Upcoming Events
February Executive Committee Meeting
Wednesday February 28, 7:45 pm., in Citizens for the East Bay State Park office above Trader Joe's at the south end of El Cerrito Plaza shopping center. Take the elevator between TJ's and the GNC Vitamin store or stairs around the corner. Walk through two sets of doors to Suite 520.
Meetings are open to all. Learn about the Group's conservation issues
and administration or to volunteer your time and talents. For information

2007 Events
For 2007, besides monthly ExCom meetings to which you are invited, we
plan to have three or four general meetings. We need to know what kinds
of programs you are interested in and would come to. What topics turn
you on? What kinds of presentations and presenters do you prefer? Can
you suggest some topics and/or potential presenters?
Take our survey! Tell us what issues you'd like us to tackle and what kinds of activities you'd like to parcicipate in. Print & mail it to Grant Bennett, 2621 Mira Vista Dr., El Cerrito, CA 94530 OR copy & paste it into an email message, fill it out and send to WestCountyGroup@hotmail.com.
