Sierra Club Snowcamping - San Francisco Bay Chapter

If you love backpacking, come join us in the snow and enjoy the wonders that winter camping can offer. We offer training in the basics necessary to enjoy this winter activity and a number of alumni trips.



News (updated Apr 22, 2013):
  • The 2013 training series and alumni trips are officially over, and the remaining snow is melting fast. It's not too early to start dreaming about next year, though! Applications for the 2014 season will be available on this website in mid-October 2013, and the training orientation will be held on Jan 11, 2014.
