Make Solar Energy a Reality for Oakland!

While automobile emissions continue to rise, energy prices are rising even faster. It is absolutely critical we begin to build a clean energy economy. Economies are built from the ground up. That's why cities like Oakland need to work locally to make clean, renewable energy a reality.

Oakland now has the opportunity to support a smart, bold new strategy for local energy solutions called Community Choice Aggregation. It's one of the best ways build an economically and environmentally sustainable Bay Area. Community Choice gives voice to local values, local concerns and, more importantly, local control of our energy supply. Clean, local energy is critical for sustainable economies and clean, secure communities.
