Chapter Elections and Group Elections 2013
The Sierra Club is a grassroots, democratic organization. Support this process at the local level by running for the San Francisco Bay Chapter Executive Committee, or one of its local group Executive Committees.
In mid-November, members of the Sierra Club, who are part of the SF Bay Chapter, will receive a ballot in The Yodeler, the Chapter's bi-monthly chapter newspaper.
The Executive Committees are our decision making boards. These Committees oversee budgets, administer activities, decide local conservation policy, and endorse political candidates.
Please consider running! If you have some experience in these areas and think you might be interested in serving on one of these bodies, you can download an application packet, including an applicant letter, timeline, sample statement, statement and photo guidelines, campaign guidelines, and questionnaire here. In mid-November, The Yodeler (the bi-monthly chapter newspaper) is scheduled to be mailed to members with a ballot. On December 13th, the election closes; all ballots must be submitted.
