Dinner/meeting

Wednesday, March 28, at Chinese Restaurant, 1034 B Street in Hayward (just a few blocks from BART); dinner 6:30 - 7:15 pm, meeting 7:15 - 9.

The Sierra Club's Southern Alameda County Group, representing Club members from Castro Valley, San Lorenzo, Hayward, Newark, Union City, and Fremont, meets every other month. See coming Yodelers for future meeting locations. We are planning to rotate the location to encourage members from other parts of the Group.

The Group is looking for a replacement member for our Executive Committee, since long-time member Ken Ryan is moving to Mount Shasta. We will miss his dedication and efforts. To apply for the seat, come to our March 28 meeting. The term runs through November of this year - five remaining meetings. This is a good chance for someone new to get their feet wet. Give your time and energy to helping the Sierra Club protect what we believe in.
